Citizens’ organizations all throughout the world are encouraging wider engagement in the democratic process.
These efforts seek to restore governments’ authority and responsibility to create policies in economics and society that safeguard and serve the interests of all communities.
It is obvious that it can only be achieved by long-term peace, which promotes justice, compassion, involvement, fairness, and unity.
Equality Today and our colleagues are therefore promoting opportunities for localized evolution that caters to people’s needs and encourages expansive involvement. We also promote integration, which is bolstered by local, municipal, and international ties.
Furthermore, we believe that local power has immense potential, not just for assuring local involvement and self-governance, but also for preparing the way for democratic reform.
