Human civilization is the story of flight and escape.
Numerous individuals and groups on the street are refugees and institutionally displaced people who have been uprooted by conflict and tragedy. Others are pushed as a result of the failure of regional economies and are obliged to travel borders in quest of better opportunities.
As a result, it is critical for communities and governments to foster social empathy with all migrants and to instill public responsibility in order to support migrants’ and refugees’ legal protections.
Equality Today collaborates with local and international partners to advance the fundamental rights of refugees, unaccompanied children, migrant laborers, and cross-border migrants.
We also advocate for people’s right to freedom, the ability to refuse forceful relocation, and the opportunity to return securely to their communities.
